So, I had a notion and last week I signed up to run the Evening Echo Mini Marathon on the 28th September. That’ll be fun, right? The charity I have chosen to fund raise for are Dogs Trust Ireland. I have always admired the work they do (I discovered them when I lived in Manchester and ended up adopting a dog called Desmond from their Cardiff branch) and I was delighted when they announced they were opening in Ireland. I love that they believe in education as I truly believe this is the way forward for animal welfare in this country.
If you would like to sponsor me in my attempted run you can do so by donating online.
On Day Fifty Six of #100DaysOfHappiness I received my pack from the Dogs Trust in the post consisting of an AWESOME yellow t-shirt, a little tote bag and a sponsorship card (which my mother was the first to take up a line!). I’m super excited and also a little nervous. So, PLEASE go sponsor me!
