Some Summer

Whoa, hold onto your proverbial horses. That was three hot days we have had a in a row! I couldn’t take advantage of it today, but Tuesday and Wednesday I jam packed everything summery possible into the day, you know, just in case there’s no more summer. Personally, the last few weeks, I keep thinking that we’re in the middle of March and I must hold off on certain seeds to be planted but we’re very nearly into June and that’s scary.

So, I had lunch outside, sunbathed, listened to some kick ass summer tunes driving to Kinsale, stopped off in a rapeseed field to take some photos, ate chips looking out over Kinsale harbour, stuffed myself some more with ice cream, popped into the fabulous La Vie En Rose in Ballinspittle to book my place on an intensive Annie Sloan Chalk Paint workshop. I didn’t make it to the beach but I did drive passed it so that counts, kinda.

Anyway, I’ll share some of my summer 2013 photos below!

Ah, summer, what power you have to make us suffer and like it.
