Irish Bloggers – One More Time!

A few months ago, I wrote a blog post about two Pinterest boards I had set up to keep on top of blog reading and to help Irish bloggers find other Irish bloggers.

Well, it’s proved very popular. So much so, that I have gone and set up a new Pinterest account solely for this purpose (and so you don’t have to follow my personal pins of wellies, flowers and Ryan Gosling!).

Irish Blogs

Irish Blogs

I’ve created some boards of different categories to get started:

  • Art
  • Food & Drink
  • Personal
  • Parenting
  • Gardening Photography
  • Fashion
  • Beauty
  • Music
  • Weddings

If you would like to be included on this Pinterest account, please email your details to along with:

  • what category or categories you would like your blog to be pinned to
  • link to your pinterest account (if you have one)
  • A brief description of your blog

I will then send you an invite to pin onto the Lastest Irish Blog Board and will pin your blog link to category board(s).

If you don’t have a Pinterest account and don’t want another form of social media to be consumed by but want to join in, let me know and I will pin your blog into the relevant categories anyway. Please suggest more categories, if you feel I’m missing some.

There is also a facebook and twitter for this, and if you tweet or facebook me the link, I will share.

I know you’re probably thinking I am a right pain in the bum but this is the last time, I promise!

I hope this makes sense! Any questions, just shout!

    • Haha! That’s true. There’s no pressure either way but I thought it might be nice to categorise blogs too. Make it easier. Let me know what categories you want either of your blogs in πŸ™‚

  1. Hi Susan, Delighted to see it worked out so well. Blogging is alive and well in Ireland. Would love to be included again in the Personal category.

Still trying to get to grips with pinterest but hopefully will learn as I go.

    • How’d you mean Val? I must say, I’m reading way more now with the twitter account (even just a quick scan). I wish I had more time to comment or I didn’t have to login every 5 seconds to like posts on WP!

  2. I have so much to learn about all this…
I joined pinterest and I just know it’s going to take over my life, even before I figure out how to work it!!!
Can you add me to the personal bloggy board please?

    • Any questions just ask. I will add your blog to the board. Let me know your pinterest account address so I can invite you pin on the latest Irish Blogs board!

      • Hellooooooo πŸ™‚
I’m speccymspec- you’re following me on Pinterest (not that I’ve done anything worth following yet!!)
My blog is, and is a personal bog, with added family stuff and health.

  5. Hey! My boyfriend just told me all about this. I’m not Irish, but I’m blogging in Ireland. Does that count? I’d be categorized under Art, Personal, or Farming if you add it. Thanks!

    • Hi! Ah your Simon’s girlfriend, right? I’ll add you to the boards as soon as my little one goes to bed πŸ™‚ Do you have a Pinterest account?

    • I find that looking at other pinterest accounts help. It’s basically an organised notice board. Like I have a board for wellies, flowers, things for Tabitha, sheds etc. Anything goes! πŸ™‚

  6. Thanks for adding me to the new Pinterest boards.
Goodness, you’ve done a huge amount of work with all of this! It looks like it took on a life of it’s own. Be sure & ask If you need any help with any of it πŸ™‚

    • It is time consuming but I’m hoping people will start tweeting me links rather than me having to look for them. Timeline already busy! πŸ™‚

  7. What a great idea. I’ve been trying to find other Irish bloggers and google search doesn’t seem to be the best method! I’ll email during the week.
