Sligo in Snapshots

Sligo in Snapshots as describing it wouldn’t do it any justice, I would ramble and chose words that wouldn’t make any sense to you. Exquisite is what springs to mind when I think of the captivating beauty in it’s town and surrounding countryside. I am making it my mission to go back and next time with hiking boots and quadruple the time.

I forgot what it was like to fall in love with somewhere, it’s been a while. Enjoy.

Stood at the bottom of this fairy hill, facing it, turned around three times and made a wish. The wish would come true if I ended up facing the hill. I didn’t.

    • I admire you! I was worried about doing it with my camera and I saw two guys one with a tiny baby and another with a 2 year old in a rucksack carrier. It was my favourite part of the holiday πŸ™‚ Thanks for reading x

  2. Really lovely. Reminds me of a favourite line from a poem
    “…and summer days when we were young;
    sweet childish days that were as long as twenty days are now.”
    (OK, except the massage!)

  3. What a great, albeit short, adventure. Reminds me that I really need to get out on the weekends more and explore. Gorgeous pictures.
